Excellent, centrally located beautiful hotel. Location- steps from Zocalo, Cathedral, Templo Mayor! Beautiful Tiffany glass ceiling! Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Old bedroom, old beds, not enough bedsheets.

Muy buena elección!
Muy buena elección! El hotel es bellísimo y me encanta que han conservado el edificio con la arquitectura y diseño original. La ubicación es excelente porque estás a un paso del zócalo y en nuestro caso tuvimos un evento ahí en el centro de la ciudad, así que hospedarnos ahí fue perfecto porque, hubo una manifestación y cerraron las calles para entrar al centro de la Ciudad, pero como estábamos en este hotel pudimos caminar por 6-9 minutos sin ningún problema al lugar del evento. Las habitaciones son enormes! El personal de la recepción fue muy amable y atento. Una de las habitaciones que reservamos tenía un olor muy desagradable. Olía a sucio y viejo. Tenía alfombra y se veía muy descuidada y vieja, seguramente era de donde se despedía el olor tan desagradable. Sería muy bueno que cuidaran esos detalles de remodelación o mantenimiento para dar una mejor atención e impresión a los huéspedes. Las toallas están muy percudidas y dan muy mal aspecto. El restaurante del desayuno también se ve muy descuidado, necesita una buena remodelación.

Historic hotel in Centro
Historic hotel in Centro Historic building with beautiful stain glass ceilings, nice views from 4th floor restaurant, good walking location to the Centro area. Staff generally helpful. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Location is not accessible to taxis or Ubers so u need to be dropped off a block away. I asked for a wake up call and it was provided 25 minutes late so we almost missed our hot air balloon ride excursion. Floors are not even so you need to be aware walking around.
