I had time constraints for some of my days in Japan so I decided to take a chance with my hotel breakfast which was actually really nice. My hotel in Kyoto was the Oakwood Hotel Oike Kyoto which was very fancy but its exterior pitch dark like the night sky. I had a very embarrassing experience trying to locate it due to its door looking like a black window. The breakfast was not free however it was only about $26. Though a majority of the options were cold they had different types of soups, veggies and sides. My favorite thing was the edamame shumai that I went back for seconds. I also got the
