Privacy policy
Last updated 2026. This page explains what Roomly collects and how we use it.
What we collect
When you book, we collect the guest details you enter: name, email address and optional phone number, along with your stay dates, party size and chosen room. When you contact support, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply. We also store the search terms and properties you view so we can show recently viewed stays.
Why we use it
We use your details to create and confirm reservations with the property or supplier, to send booking confirmations, to answer support requests, and to keep the service secure and working properly.
Who we share it with
Booking details are shared with the property or its supplier so your reservation can be fulfilled. We also use infrastructure providers for hosting, database storage and content aggregation. We do not sell your personal information.
Property content
Reviews, ratings, photos and videos shown on property profiles are aggregated from publicly available sources around the web and across social media. That content belongs to its original authors and platforms, and we display it for research purposes.
Retention
Booking records are retained for as long as needed to service the reservation and meet legal and accounting obligations. Support messages are kept while the issue is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Cached property content is refreshed on a rolling 30 day cycle.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us through the support page and we will respond.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage to remember your stay dates, guest count and recently viewed properties. This stays on your device and is not used for advertising.
