Terms & conditions

Last updated 2026. These terms apply whenever you use Roomly to research or book a stay. Questions go to hello@useroomly.com.

Who we are

Roomly operates useroomly.com. You can reach us at hello@useroomly.com about anything on this page, including a booking, a change request or a privacy question.

Using Roomly

Roomly aggregates publicly available guest reviews, ratings and social content from around the web and across social media into a single property profile. Scores are our interpretation of that content and are provided for guidance only. You agree to use the service for genuine travel research and booking, and not to scrape, resell or republish our content.

Bookings

When you book through Roomly, your reservation is fulfilled by the property or its supplier. The room, board, cancellation policy and price shown at the moment you confirm form your contract. We send you a confirmation code once the property confirms the reservation.

Prices and taxes

Nightly rates and stay totals are quoted in the currency shown and include the taxes and fees charged by the property or supplier at the time of booking. Some destinations levy city or tourist taxes and some properties charge resort fees, deposits or optional extras that are collected directly at check-in. Rates move constantly, so the price is only locked once your booking is confirmed.

How we make money

Roomly earns a commission on each booking, which is already included in the price you see — there is no booking fee added at checkout and no charge for using the site. We never take a cut of anything Price Watch saves you: if we move you to a cheaper rate, the whole difference is refunded to you. We say this plainly because a site that asks you to trust its scores should be willing to tell you how it is paid.

Price Watch

If you book a refundable rate you can turn on Price Watch. We then re-check that same room, for the same dates and party, until you check in. If we find it meaningfully cheaper we hold that offer and tell you — we never change your booking on our own. Accepting an offer books the cheaper room first and only then releases the original, so your stay is never left uncovered; if that swap cannot be completed we leave your existing booking exactly as it was. A swap means a refund of the original booking and a new charge at the lower rate, and the difference is yours. Held offers expire if the rate moves or is not accepted within 24 hours. Price Watch is free and you can turn it off from your reservation page at any time.

Cancellations and changes

Each room shows its own cancellation terms before you confirm. Free cancellation windows are set by the property and are enforced in the property's local time. Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or amended. To request a change, email hello@useroomly.com or use the support page, quoting your confirmation code.

Accuracy and liability

We work hard to keep property content, imagery and availability accurate, but we do not warrant that everything is complete or error free. Roomly is not the provider of accommodation and is not liable for the condition of a property or the conduct of a supplier, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The version published at https://useroomly.com/terms at the time you book is the one that applies to your reservation.
